About Plymouth
map
Plymouth Massachusetts is the largest town in area in the Commonwealth. It is a coastal community in southeastern Massachusetts about 5 miles north of the Cape Cad Canal. In the past Plymouth was mostly an isolated seacoast area where the economy was linked to the sea and shipping. The site of the original Pilgrim settlement in 1620 is now part of today's thriving Downtown/Harbor district.

Because of its accessibility to the Boston metropolitan area and its desirability in terms of land prices as well as tax rates and other residential amenities, Plymouth's population increased 145% in the 20 years between 1970 and 1990. The town has a healthy industrial and commercial base along with amenities that include exclusive golf course communities and miles of beautiful beaches.

Residents of Plymouth are proud of its downtown and harbor and beaches and are committed to controlling its residential growth while welcoming industrial and commercial expansion.

Wait Until Dark by Frederick Knott
A con man and two ex-convicts are about to meet their match. They have traced the location of a mysterious doll to the Greenwich Village apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy. Sam had apparently been persuaded by a strange woman to transport the doll across the Canadian border, not knowing that sewn inside were several grams of heroin. When the woman is murdered, the situation becomes more urgent. The sinister men try to trick Susy into handing over the doll, but she refuses to reveal its location, and when she figures out she is the victim of a bizarre charade, a deadly game of cat and mouse begins. So when darkness falls, she turns off all the lights, leaving everyone to maneuver in the dark until the game ends.

Cheryl Wheeler
Cheryl Wheeler really has to be seen to be appreciated. Nothing you read and nothing you hear from her albums prepares you for how entertaining a performer she is. If you're not already familiar with Cheryl, you have probably heard her music. She is very respected as a songwriter by her peers, which can be seen by how many of them record her songs. Cheryl's songs have been covered by artists as diverse as Dan Seals, Peter Paul & Mary, Kenny Loggins, Garth Brooks, Suzy Bogguss, Melanie, Bette Midler, Maura O'Connell, Sylvia, Kathy Mattea, and Holly Near. From her albums you can tell that she is a gifted songwriter with a beautiful voice. From other people's comments about her, you learn that she is a natural storyteller with a fantastic sense of humor. But until you see her in person, you never really believe what you've been told about her. Interestingly enough, almost half of the songs she performs during her shows have never been recorded! Her first public performance was at a Hootenanny when she was 12. She started writing her own songs when she was 17. Her funny stories between songs reveal her talent for diversity. Each time she tells a story, it will be a little bit different, so even if you've heard it before, you still find yourself laughing. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
